Aromacare Victoria is focussed primarily on providing aromatherapy In-Care Program services to the health care industry - to people in nursing homes, hospices, and hospitals or using palliative care, aged care and community care services.
Aromatherapy In-Care Program©
The main aim of the program is to deliver structured aromatherapy for clients of health care facilities and services of the highest professional quality in accordance with the International Federation of Aromatherapists (IFA) standards using premium quality Aromacare Victoria products in aromatherapy treatments.
In response to identifying individual clients emerging health state, and particular problems, needs, and wants, the Aromatherapy In-Care Program employs the professional knowledge, skills and experience of qualified aromatherapists in preparing and implementing written aromatherapy care plans.
The essential oil pharmacopoeia is extensive and knowledge of individual oils and oil combinations, treatment indications, contraindications and therapeutic effects lies at the heart of professional aromatherapy practice. This knowledge, together with the use of various modalities, the quality of therapeutic communications and the creation of a healing environment are crucial to therapeutic success and client safety. These features are the distinguishing characteristics of Aromacare's Aromatherapy In-Care Program.
Flexible program options
The In-Care Program provides flexible options to suit the particular health facility or service. These include:
- Individual Client aromatherapy treatments such as massage, baths, footbaths, vaporization, and inhalation of essential oils.
- Group aromatherapy sessions:
A range of aromatherapy treatments, especially foot baths and massage, hand, arm and face massages, use of face sprays, and essential oil inhalation and vaporization are able to be used quite successfully in a group aromatherapy session for clients.

Continuing education and training
Depending of the chosen options, the work of your direct care staff will heighten the success of implementing the In-Care Program. Our aromatherapists provide supportive training about the program and aromatherapy's benefits, effective essential oil combinations and applications as well as teach appropriate techniques, contraindications, essential oil storage and safety precautions.
Professional aromatherapy consultations and staff support
As part of all In-Care Programs our aromatherapists are always available and provide ongoing consultation and support for staff in relation to the management of clients' aromatherapy care.
